Original Character Challenge - Arcane Idol (Part1)

So deviantart is hosting a character design challenge, Let’s have some fun with it. And to push myself to finish more pieces. So let’s look at the requirements :
Arcane Idol(n): an enchanting entertainer who combines talent with magic to capture the attention of a crowd.
The Arcane Idol was once a humble performer without an audience, their only real support being the equipment necessary for the show. Then everything changed with the discovery of a mysterious talisman, a mystical object enchanted with ancient powers. The performance tools became enhanced with magic, and the Arcane Idol's story truly began. Empty audiences were suddenly filled with adoring fans, who soon developed a logo for banners and signs to easily symbolize their love for the new global superstar.
As their fame grew, so did the talisman's influence over the Arcane Idol. Now the iconic entertainer is never seen without their magically enhanced performance equipment, powerful talisman, and their logo to remind them of the fans' passion.

Invent your Arcane Idol! Though the objects may appear anywhere in your piece, you must be sure to have your artwork feature your original interpretation of your idol's Magical Talisman, Equipment, and Logo.
My Idea:
So my character will be Medusa, She actually likes to play a huge harp but no one listens to her because they don’t want to turn into stone, But once she found a talisman that made her sing and play music so good, people risk being turned into stone by direct eye contact still goes to her show. Some cover their eyes, Some wanted to look at her face, The unlucky (or lucky?) ones become decorations on her stage.
As for reference I pull from Greek fashion and also instrument designs. And for hair style I wanted to try some Greek style with the snakes tided up. You can look at my idea and reference sheet.
As for my stage one sketch, I like the feeling of 1 and 2, 3 is a bit too generic. And the hair styles doesn’t work too well with snake hair I guess, But I like the graphic shape of a piece of cloth in the middle of the snakes in design 1. I think I will end up combining 1 and 2. I also like in 2 she has her harp chained up with her since it’s so important to her. Might do the talisman on the other hand.Tomorrow I will start working on the composition or the equipment and talisman designs.
