When people talk about art skills they are talking about how good are you in fundamentals. And quick sketch is one of the great ways passed down from the masters to practice form, light and proportions. Today I will share 3 insanely good site for you to practice this skill.
1. Quick pose(click to go to the site). Quick pose is a site with a collection of different images grouped into topics like ‘warriors’ or seated images like ‘please be seated’. Or if you want to train to be sakimi chan you can check out the erotica archives, After clicking a topic and choose how much time you want to spend per image you’d enter a slide show. Start drawing until the end. They even offers a certificate if you track your progress! Recommended for people for limited time to practice. it’s a recommended site between traditional practice and modern concept art design.
2.On air video croquis cafe. Want to do live drawing but got no money for a model? You’re in for a treat. More on the traditional side you can pick the model you want to study on the models page. Then you can look at HD photo shots of them or click on a live drawing video. Recommended for artist wanted to study the traditional way with more human body focused, not much fantasy here but a overkill if your goal is to study with the human body with different body types.
3.Characterdesigns. Character designs is more of a reference site for your design reference on a tattoo piece or concept art. A lot of action poses here also great collection of costumes and weapon reference could be found here. If you want to practice some action attacking pose this will be your site. Recommended for artist looking for design reference for fantasy style works.
